Share Your Expertise in Just a Few Steps

Whether you’re a first-time presenter or a seasoned pro, submitting a session proposal is simple.  Follow the steps below and you’ll be on your way to the stage.

Enter Speaker Information and Answer Requested and Required Questions
  • Enter your profile information in upper/lower case
  • Current bio and headshot uploads are required with submission –  these will be used on the conference website if you are selected
Enter Session Information and Answer Requested and Required Questions
  • Session Title - Your title should signify the outcomes or take-aways. Avoid using abbreviations, acronyms, and any wordplay that might confuse a reader. Limit the title to 10-15 words, or about 70 characters, including spaces. (Titles may later be edited by ARMA International).

  • Session Description - The description needs to clearly describe the topic, the outcomes, and why attendees will benefit. Include two to five take-aways and any relevant details on your teaching approach, learning tools, and handouts. Do not include identifying information for any of the presenters and/or their organizations in the session description. (Descriptions may later be edited by ARMA International).

  • Session Learning Objectives - Briefly state up to three specific, measurable, and action-oriented learning objectives that complete the following sentence: “Upon completing this session, participants will be able to…”

  • Proposed Session Theme– Under which theme does your session most align? Select ONE theme from among the options provided.

  • Proposed Topic Categories – Which IG category best describes your session’s topic? Select up to TWO categories  from among the options provided.

  • Audience Learning Level- Please specify the primary audience for your session by selecting the most appropriate learner level, based on attendee professional experience categories as defined below:
    • Beginner: Less than 5 years of experience
    • Intermediate: 5 to15 years of experience
    • Advanced: More than 15+years of experience 
      If your session is relevant to audiences across multiple experience levels, please select the lowest applicable learner level to ensure accessibility for all attendees.

  • Session Delivery Methods & Interactivity – Please detail how you are going to relay the information to the participants, what teaching methods you plan to use, any plans for interactive engagement with the audience, and what is unique or new about the format. The session should engage and invite the participants to experience content application.

  • Co-Presenters – If you plan to co-present with another speaker(s), please provide their names and contact information where indicated.  

  • Past Teaching, Presenting and/or Speaking Experiences – Do you or co-presenters have experience presenting, teaching, or facilitating? If so, list up to 3 instances per speaker. 
Choose to Finish Your Submission or Save for Later Submission
  • You will be able to edit your abstract through the Proposal Service Center until October 31, 2025.
  • Once you submit, you will see a thank you message.
  • You will also receive an email submission confirmation with a link.
  • If you DO NOT receive an email confirmation, please check your spam/junk folder associated with the email you used on the proposal.
