Selection Criteria

InfoNEXT2026_logo

The selection process follows a rigorous review of every finalized submission.

Incomplete submissions will not be reviewed.

InfoNEXT sessions should have a strategic viewpoint that will help participants create forward-looking IG programs by anticipating challenges and leveraging opportunities.

Our participants want to know what the future of IG looks like and how to drive IG transformation both within their organizations and for the profession more broadly. They want real-world examples of what works, as well as practical takeaways.

Priority will be given to proposals that are uniquely engaging and invite the participants to experience content application.

Reviewers will look closely at the submissions for these criteria:

  • Topic and purpose – must address relevant matters in information governance and align with the conference theme, prescribed content categories, and proposed topics
  • Learning objectives – to confirm they are results-oriented, real-world, and realistic
  • Originality – introduce new constructs or concepts that broaden attendees’ ideological understanding and lend important new contributions to the field
  • Quality- meet high professional quality standards and have an evidence-based approach based on current literature, data, case studies, or other findings
  • Relevance – must address relevant matters in IG and help attendees understand future or existing challenges, enabling them to formulate effective IG strategies within their organizations
  • Use of performance tools, job aids, and Priority consideration will be given to case studies.
